Justin Epifanio formed Cheetah Head Productions in 2024 with the goal of using his skills as a director, producer and story telling for impact work, focusing on media making a positive impact on the world.
Justin is one quarter Mohawk and Shinnecock Indian. Since his grandmother's passing in 2022, he has been on a journey to re-connect with his native heritage.
He was invited to attend a Sundance ceremony by Moses Norton and his mother Mary Mullen, which led him to South Dakota where he and Moses teamed up with local Lakotas to create the feature length documentary "Heyoka".
Our Team.
The core team behind feature length documentary "Heyoka" is comprised of talented and dedicated filmmakers. Each member has created, directed and produced their own films, honing storytelling skills over thousands of hours before coming together to create a cinematic vision of Heyokas.
